Export Your Video

In Premier, click on the Sequence you want to submit in the Project Pane to select it. Click on the File menu and choose Export/Media.

It may take a little time to load but the Export Setting window should launch. Double check the graphic below and make sure your setting match.

Export Settings

  1. In Premier, select the Sequence you wish to export.
  2. Be sure the Source Range is set to Entire Sequence or you may only export part of your movie.
  3. The Format should be H264, if that isn't available, try MPG4 or even Quicktime.
  4. Preset should be Match Source.
  5. Click on the orange Output Name. This will give you a chance to rename your sequence and navigate to the location you wish to save your movie. Make a note of where you are saving your file. It should be called AssignmentName YourLastName Tu or Th, for example Video Project Sweitzer Tu.
  6. Make sure both Export Video and Export Audio are checked.
  7. Choose Export at the bottom of the window. The resulting file should be named AssignmentName YourLastName Tu or Th.mov or .mp4 or .wmv on some PCs. IT SHOULD NOT END IN .prproj - I can’t grade that file.
  8. Upload the resulting file in the Sound & Stills Project folder in the J210 Box.com folder.
